The LPI Individual includes the use of the LPI Self assessment, a 30-item instrument helps individuals measure their leadership competencies, while guiding them through the process of applying Kouzes and Posner's acclaimed Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® Model to real-life organizational challenges. Using the LPI Online web-based system, individuals can self-register, complete the LPI Self assessment that measures the frequency of their own leadership behaviors on a 10-point frequency scale, and view and/or print their own reports in PDF format.
How does the LPI Individual work?
Through the use of electronic tokens purchased online, individual Leaders or other independent users can gain access to the specific LPI Individual assignment that their Administrator has created. Upon completion of the registration process and successful login to the secure LPI Online site, participants will complete the LPI Self, the self-assessment instrument that contains 30 statements describing specific leadership behaviors, rated on a 1 to 10 point frequency scale. This takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and the results are automatically scored electronically. Feedback reports are generated immediately and can be viewed and/or printed from any web-enabled computer.
Note that the LPI Individual does not include the LPI Observers assessment, which provides 360-degree feedback on an individual's leadership behaviors. This specific tool offers a way for individuals to independently measure their own behaviors based on each of The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®.
What if I'm taking the LPI Individual on my own?
If you are participating in the LPI Individual on your own, you will be acting as both the Administrator and the Leader. Confused? Don't be. Follow the steps below. You may also want to print this page for easy reference.

- If this is your first time to LPI Online, you'll need to retrieve your token.

How much does the LPI Individual cost?
One (1) LPI Individual token is $40.00 and includes access to one (1) LPI Self assessment (to be completed by a single Leader). No LPI Observer assessments are included in this product. This token is valid for up to 12 months and will expire one year after the date of purchase.
NOTE: All LPI tokens are product-specific and can be used to access only the LPI assessment designated. Tokens are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another LPI assessment.
